Streak is my fun-loving social butterfly. Whether she knows you or not, she is VERY happy to see you and will tell you so with her full body wag! My husband and I adopted Streak from the Border Collie Rescue of Minnesota in February, 2008 at 6 mos old. She had been surrendered for excessive horse chasing, and her “herdy” nature is still very obvious. Her favorite pastime is herding Ace around while he chases his toys! Unlike Ace, Streak came with almost no toy drive, but after some hard effort in toy motivation, now does just about anything for a game of Frisbee or tug!

Streak is also well on her way to becoming a great agility dog! She started out with a very comical lack of grace in agility, but has started to see the benefit of paying attention to her body and is doing very well.

Streak began competition in August of 2009, and has already earned her first 5 titles! She has competed in distance and accuracy competitions through the Twin Cities Disc Dogs Club, and has also started to develop some style and skill for future competition in freestyle.
In keeping with her strong motivation for human attention, Streak is a true “diva” when it comes to having her picture taken and working a crowd. She has done some auditions for product packaging and a movie and enjoys every minute as the center of attention!
