Dr. E grew up in Dexter, NM, where she fostered a passion for animals on her family’s ranch. At six years old, she decided she would one day be a veterinarian, a decision she would never compromise. Dr. E became an avid horsewoman during high school. Her passion for helping animals and love of horses motivated her to attend Colorado State University to study equine science. After graduating, Dr. E began her work as a general practitioner in 2008.
“We enjoy life on our ranch east of Albuquerque, where we’re the proud owners of many critters and fur babies:
Samantha (female Boxer) – crossed the rainbow bridge in April of 2021.
- Horchata (deaf female Boxer)
- Patches (male Boxer mix)
- Numerous barn cats and several dozen chickens
- Neena (female American Staffordshire mix)
And we entertain ourselves with whatever seasonal obstacle comes our way….plus whatever the cat or dog happens to drag in!”
